Infrastructure Manager, Enfield Lock
The Infrastructure Manager is a key strengthening role within a superb Technical Services Team. It will require a competent, capable, structured and willing individual who can take on the overall management of Cloud Infrastructure, with knowledge covering, but not limited to, Virtualization, Storage, Security and Networking.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of previous experience within a corporate IT environment providing support at an infrastructure level.
Experience managing and implementing Data Centre / Infrastructure Backup and Security Solutions.
In addition it is preferred the successful candidate would have a proven working knowledge in the following areas;
VMware’svSphere Platform. In particular vSphere 6.5 - Companion and Extension services on the vSphere Environment, such as Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vRealize Operations (vROPS), VMware NSX
EMC Storage Stack and the additional features/services that can be attached to it
Understanding of security and the current threat landscape
The responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager will be to:
Ensure and provide a stable and secure infrastructure on which other Technical Services branches can onboard customers. whilst also being able to provide a forecast on the Cloud’s Hardware, managing equipment refreshes and upgrades to both software and hardware components which make up the Infrastructure and to work with our Data Centre providers on current and future projects. This role would suit a highly competent individual with strong communication and technical skills to undertake the following duties
Strategically develop and administer the Cloud Infrastructure and services.
Ensure the Security and Integrity of the Cloud Infrastructure
Capacity Planning and Management.
Provide support to the necessary departments within the Technical Services Team on delivering Customer Projects
Provide guidance and leadership on complex technical projects and deliveries.
Leads the process to evaluate and select new technologies
Leads the process to establish technology standards across the business and for customers where applicable. Researches topics related to current and emerging technology for Cloud, Network and Solutions.
Continually review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
Approve major changes on Network and Cloud
Shaping Incident response policies and managing recovery for major outages or infrastructure events.
Provide non time-critical consultancy on complex technical issues/customer needs.
Solution Architecture for Infrastructure/Vmware platforms and Advanced Windows solutions where required
Manage IT lifecycle in datacentres.

Juniper Network Engineering and security. This Network Engineer role is a pivotal role in the delivery of technological solutions for the business and their customers. What you will be doing…
Our Mobile Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.
Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, walking up to 10 miles per day, so please consider this before you apply. You will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations.
You will be required to work 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential.

General Description:
Working with the Head of Information Systems you will be integral to ensuring that the IT infrastrucure is robust and flexible to meet the challenges of the digital transformation project taking place within the Group.

As the technical lead for the team, you will be a highly experienced and confident 3rd line engineer, capable of supporting and improving the company’s infrastructure on the roadway to digital transformation. • Ensure the availability and performance of the Information Systems architecture to ensure the efficient running of the Group operations, via the provision of infrastructure management and technical support services.
• Participate and represent Information Systems as a technical expert in projects as defined to improve the operational performance of the Group.

Our client is seeking someone who is physically fit and able to start work in January 2019 on a temp - perm basis.
You will have previous warehouse experience and goods in experience as well as very good packing skills. You will have good attention to detail as you will also be cutting cloth and you will be able to work out basic measurements. It is essential that you are physically fit as you will, at times, be moving and lifting goods up to 30Kg from containers. Safety boots required.
FULL UK DRIVING licence ESSENTIAL as you will be required to cover the van run to either Kent or Wales (with a paid overnight stay) very occasionally. Approximately twice a year. You will also be over 25 years of age for van insurance purposes.
