Electrical Engineer / Facilities Engineer - London (Excellent Transport Links) - Medical Research Centre We are currently seeking for an Electrical & Utiities Engineers to join a Medical Research centre's team in London. The organisation is close to national transport links and as such is easily commuteable from any part of London/ surrounding areas. The organistion is cornerstone of the UK's medical research and is seeking an experienced and versatile professional to join the team and help implement the optimised strategy proposed for core utilities, HV electricalsystems and assets throughout the entire site. They key to the role is experience in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management, Utilities Management and strong communication skills. Key Tasks include, however are not limited to: - Ensuring plant equipment is maintained and operated efficently, reliably and safely - Work with the facilities management partner to ensure that Electrical and Utility assets are working in an optimised state -Promote continous improvement throughout the enitre site and all assets - Analyse CAFM data to identify improvements - Develop business cases to justify proposals for capital expediture projects accross the site - Monitor and suggest improvements for energy and utility efficency - Provide advice and Guidance to the Engineering Projects team, ensuring installations are to the organisations quality standards What the organisation are looking for: - HNC or Degree qualified in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) - Member of an appropriate Engineering Organisation - 10 years of significant Engineering experience - Experience of HV electrical Installations - Experience delivering complex projects - Experience in plant equipment, installation, configruation and operations - Strong IT skills - Experience with facility management software The Ideal Candidate would possess: - Experience in high containment facilities i.e. Pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, medical devices, Nucleur - Knowledge of Asset Management (PAS 55) If you believe you are suitable please Apply with your most up to date CV immediately.
