We are BT Property & Facilities Services, we are part of BT Group and we specialise in property and facilities management. Our brilliant team provide a full range of building maintenance services to around 8,000 BT buildings in the UK. The estate varies from commercial offices, telephone exchanges and retail shops.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Environment Technician to join us on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to deliver onsite technical services to enable the safe management of building risks, including asbestos, hazardous working environments, fire and water hygiene. Duties include:
•Undertaking building surveys and inspections to identify risks from hazardous working environments, including asbestos materials, and determining appropriate and effective controls to manage any risks
•Undertake air quality monitoring to assess the risks from airborne contaminants, including asbestos, and provide clearance certification in accordance with UKAS standards, where applicable
•Supporting remediation and general construction projects, including the provision of technical specifications for tenders and advice to project managers on asbestos matters.
•Promotion of good HSE and asbestos safety practice to stakeholders and helping to establish a positive safety culture, and supporting the development of improvements in HSE performance
•Establishing and maintaining links with key external agencies and peer organisations to keep up to date with leading practice in asbestos management methodologies.
•Promotion and delivery of consultancy services to BTFS clients.
•Providing technical advice and support to BTFS colleagues on maintaining compliance with asbestos and hazardous environments and other safety requirements

You will be required to produce drawings in both AutoCad & Revit MEP for a variety of projects. The Sales Manager Role:

Have at least three years experience within mental health and 12 months at senior level
