Shift Electrician, Dagenham
Launch Recruitment is working with a market leading company based in Dagenham to recruit a Shift Electrician working 12-hour shifts (4 on and 4 off days and nights).
Other duties will include:
Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery
Conduct risk assessments on all jobs before undertaking any work/tasks
To install and maintain new and existing equipment, whilst ensuring production is not interrupted
Ensure that all logs and job sheets are filled in as required
Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required
Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, whilst complying with the Company’s Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others
Provide support to the Maintenance Team and cover shifts for holidays/sickness when the business requires To assist in any other duties as required by Management/site
Ensure that the working area is clean and tidy on completion of any job/task
The successful candidate:
Must have served a recognised Electrician Apprenticeship / Qualification.
Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment
Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices
Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives
Must be able to work well individually and has part of a team
Be able to work well under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, as required
Be able to communicate well at all levels
This is a full time permanent role with an excellent salary of up to £30,200 including shift allowance plus overtime on top
The hours are an average of 40 hours per week, on a 3-week variable shift pattern (12-hour shifts, 4 on and 4 off days and nights).

* Responsible for the full life cycle development, implementation, production support, and performance tuning of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Business Intelligence Reporting environments, and support the integration of those systems with other applications
* Design and implement analytical solutions, including both the design of table structures and the processes used to populate those structures with data from internal and external sources, assisting with the identification of those sources as necessary
