LCS are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to work in the London area. Our vision is to make a positive and lasting difference to young people who have been in care and are moving towards independence. We provide young people with accommodation/housing, as well as support them to move towards independent living and educational achievements.
As a Senior Support Worker your role involves engaging, motivating and encouraging young people placed in their individual flat or shared house.
Young people cared for by LCS Partnerships are vulnerable and you are responsible for ensuring that the home in which you are working provides a safe, welcoming and healthy environment for the young person living there.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Offer practical support and guidance to young people in line with their individual care plan to enable them to develop skills needed to live independently and to achieve in their education
* Maintain positive working relationships with young people, staff and professionals by communicating effectively at all times.
* Support a young person in Education, Employment and Training, who is working towards an accredited learning qualification, by evidencing work completed and submitting this to the relevant instructor.
* Keep clear records and report appropriately to your Patch Manager. Recording effective information is vital when working and supporting young people to achieve their goals.
* Maintain appropriate links in the community – e.g., educational provisions, sport centre, youth clubs.

* Experience of supporting young people who may be vulnerable.
* Flexibility in their availability as the roles involve shift work – sleep-in nights, evenings and weekends
* NVQ 2 Health & Social Care (desirable)
* Be willing to travel so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term position and comes with an attractive salary of £27,000 per annum. Depending on shift patterns worked and additional responsibilities, this has the potential to increase.

My Client is a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy they are looking for an Assistant quaintly Surveyor to join their team based in central London you will be responsible for the management and control of all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements of project’s in order to control and maximise the company’s financial profitability, you will also be responsible for proactively managing all commercial issues reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Duties:
* Client and contract administration duties
* assist the QS with commercial administration and management on a number of live projects or projects at pre-construction phase
* attend college or further education (where offered or applicable) in line with company procedures
* Prepare internal valuations to determine accurate cost reports
* Manage and control sub-contract accounts and variation accounts

* About You:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have:
Ideally you will have 2 years’ experience working on a range of commercial and residential projects You should be keen and committed and capable of working in a large busy team and have excellent knowledge of producing detailed valuation-based reports and carrying out cost management.

The Financial Planning department provides regulated advice to clients and prospects on areas of business such as pension transfers, bond surrenders, investment taxation and structure suitability.
