Production Operatives - Harrow, Greater London
Gi Group is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives for our client site in Harrow. Previous experience in a food production environment is ideal but not essential as full induction and food hygiene training will be given.
You will be assembling and packing food products within a team environment on a production line within a busy Pizza factory.
Regular work and flexible shifts but ideally you are free to work 5/6 days out of 7. There are also part time (4 hours) evening shifts from 6pm 10pm and weekends only. We can be flexible on when and how many days you want to work. The role is temporary on-going and may lead to a permanent role within the company.
Vacancies available on the following shifts:
AM (Sunday to Friday): 05:45 to 13:45
PM (Sunday to Friday): 14:00 to 22:00
Saturday: 9:15 to 17:15
Evenings: 18:00 to 22:00
Nights: 22:00 - 06:00
Pay Rates:
£7.83 to £9.79 per hour increasing to £8.06 and £12.09 respectively after 12 weeks with a daily shift allowance becoming payable at £5.95 or £7.94 and nights £18.86 (dependant on shift and department)
There is the facility of a fantastic staff shop on site which offers not only pizzas but stocks products from across it's other sites too. Subsidised canteen with excellent hot food served.

Supply Chain Consultant, Long Eaton
Supply Chain Consultant
3 Month Contract – Immediate start.
City of London based – £500.00 per day
If you are an experienced supply chain consultant willing to join an already successful company in its own field. You will lead the Supply chain management process, in order to we expand its supply chain operations across to China and within the UK. Suitable candidates will be able guru within supply chain and can incorporate a complete supply chain strategy and process in to the company and get this department to a position where a more junior supply chain expert can manage this operation.
We expect this project to last 3 months.
You will be familiar working with the following key deliverables:
• develop SOP processes
• support transition to and use of PLM software
• develop rigorous procurement processes, working closely with finance department
• standardize supplier management activity
• streamline all existing supply chain activity
• build out supply chain KPIs
• develop effective and sustainable reporting framework and process
• search and hire of Supply Chain Manager by the end of the contract
Important experience key to this role:
• Exposure to Lithium li-ion battery supply chains
• experience of transportation of hazardous materials
• Expert user of typical supply chain tools: PLM, ERP, MRP…
• Proven success improving early stage businesses during critical growth stages
• Understanding of company culture and pace of change

Food Production Operatives - Southall, Southall
********* IMMEDIATE START, REGULAR SHIFTS & FLEXIBLE DAYS *********
We are recruiting production operatives for the afternoon shift in our clients food factories in Southall near Ealing Hospital.
Immediate start with regular work available across 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. Full or part time. Regular work of 40+ hours with overtime available and weekly paid.
PM Shift - 2pm to 10pm
Pay Rate: £7.83 - £11.75 per hour with overtime paid after 40 hours
Main duty will be packing food products on a production line within a busy chilled ready meals factory. The role may involve working with meat based products so you must be able to handle all types of meat and fish.
No previous experience needed as full induction and food hygiene training will be provided.
