QUANTITY SURVEYOR – RC FRAME – CONSTRUCTION – LONDON – CONCRETE – SLIPFORM - QS
An exciting opportunity within our commercial department has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor. We have recently won several new construction projects across Central London & want to give an aspiring Quantity Surveyor the chance to join our well-established team.
We will develop with you a clear progression path from day one, offer support and training through our dedicated training & development department & give you exciting construction projects to get involved in.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Preparing valuations for interim application for payment including variations;
· Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts
· Preparing sub-contract enquiries and order documentation;
· Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities;
· Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations;
· Preparing subcontract valuation and payment certificates;
· Monitoring costs to ensure budgets are met;
· Preparation of contract claims information;
· Evaluating/selecting subcontract tenders;
· Checking material sizes and quantities for procurement
· Setting up and maintaining contract files
Desirable Criteria:
· Minimum of 3-5 years Quantity Surveying experience
· Knowledge & interest in the Construction industry
· Experience with an RC Framework & Groundworks contractor would be beneficial but not compulsory

CLASS 2 HIAB Driver, New Southgate
Class 2 HIAB Driver with Builders Merchant experience required, to start asap.

We are recruiting for a highly experienced Branch Manager to run a successful builders merchants.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Day to day management of all branch logistic operations to include supplier deliveries, customer deliveries and collections.
• Responsible for the operation of the transport department to include deliveries, vehicle management, insurance and driver training.
• Responsible for branch stock levels, stock loss (damage and theft) and manage branch buyer and or stock controller.
