Product Manager, London
Tue, 5 Feb 2019 22:05:48 +0000
I asked a Product expert recently: what makes a great product manager and they said the following.. “A great Product Manager will develop both a highly intuitive sense of what their product and their client’s market needs, and an ability to gather, analyse and apply real-world data and evidence to support (or even contradict) their ideas and intuitions. This might be the most important skill set balancing act for a product manager” Does this describe you? If so, we should talk about a great opportunity with an organisation who is on a big journey to create, develop and release amazing products across a number of industry sectors. As a product manager, you will be working with CxO levels and helping to drive the future of some of the worlds biggest and greatest organisations. You will be working with a bright and brilliant team whose focus is on helping clients shift from a project-based to a more customer-centric product organisation to better compete in the changing and competitive digital business environment. That makes the Product Manager a very important role. Your responsibilities will be to: * Lead the design and development of client value propositions * Work with client clients to define viable products and services * Establish relationships and understanding of user and customer needs to define desirable solutions * Be able to influence Senior Management by understanding the goals of the client and individual motivations and then shaping the demand. * Integrate with the product and software development teams to shape feasible technical solutions. * Inspire and facilitate change at the individual and team level within the client – working with and understanding the client context and outcomes * Show initiative by anticipating risks, issues and opportunities, and raising them
