Payroll & HR Administrator Woodford, IG8 Competitive Salary Negotiable + Benefits Permanent Full Time Position with possible Flexibility We are a successful automotive retailer and one of the leading Toyota and Lexus Centres in the UK. As a company who prefers to keep the payroll system in-house and issues HR paperwork with the assistance of a HR advice company, we are looking to recruit a Payroll & HR Administrator to work with our current Administrator. This is first and foremost a payroll position with some HR duties such as issuing contracts, taking minutes etc. and would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who likes varied work, can work with minimal supervision and has good verbal / communication skills. Person Specification: + Honesty and discretion – honour the confidentiality of Employer and Employee pay and personnel records + Good with spreadsheets + Basic Understanding of Payroll Procedures + Ability to work to deadlines + Good Typing Skills + Multi-tasking Abilities Role Responsibilities: Payroll: + Prepares monthly payroll for approx. 140 employees using in-house Sage 50 payroll system and excel spreadsheets + Identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies within payroll records + Inputs Payroll analysis totals into our CDK Accounting system + Adheres to deadlines on all payments for HMRC, Pensions etc Human Resources: + Maintaining Personnel Records (paper and electronic) + Preparing & Issuing of HR documents such as employment contracts, changes in job status and job titles. + Liaises with our HR advisors regarding issues such as disciplinary etc + Takes minutes at meeting and preparing any necessary paperwork. + Arrange travel accommodation and Manufacturers Training Programs for All Staff You may have worked in the following capacities: HR Assistant, Graduate HR Administrator, Payroll Administrator, Human Resources Assistant, HR Trainee, HR Assistant, HR Shared Services Administrator, Junior Payroll Clerk.
