Hours: Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
Salary - negotiable depending on experience £30K - £35K basic + bonuses (which could total £6K on top).
Our client, an established business within the luxury bathroom industry, is seeking an internal contracts sales person to work within its contracts department selling mid-high end bathroom suites to businesses within the construction / house building industry (typically to builders, contractors, buyers and contracts managers).
The role requires the successful candidate to initially work on existing projects by aiding the 'contract manager' in producing detailed and accurate quotes on Excel and submitting these through Microsoft Outlook. In addition to preparing quotes he/she must be able to develop and maintain existing relationships, generate new leads and undertake general administrative duties.
Working in a small team of 4 staff, this is predominantly an internal telephone sales role although there also may be elements of visiting customers in the London area to discuss sales, scheduling of work etc.
This role is ideally suited to candidates that have had previous experience of selling bathrooms but who are looking for a new challenge by selling to trade (B2B) customers on projects of 30-40 homes at a time. An element of technical understanding of sanitaryware and installations may be beneficial although the role is sales focussed and not design led. You may have previously worked in a bathroom showroom environment or perhaps have gained your experience in a plumbing and heating merchant.
Candidates who wish to be considered for this role must be willing to learn new skills, listen to instructions and undertake tasks that they may not be familiar with.
Ideally you should be self motivated, have excellent relationship building skills, previous negotiation skills and have plenty of drive. In addition you should have excellent communication skills, have a good working knowledge of both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook with a very good eye for detail.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Annual Bonus (estimated at £6000)
Hours: Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
