Graduated Response Advisor, Kingston Upon Thames

Description This is a fixed term contract, or secondment to the end of the 2020/2021 academic year. About the role After a successful launch of Surrey's Profile of Need / Graduated Response for children and young people in September 2019, we are growing our team. This role is suitable for an experienced SENCO who wants to be able to share their knowledge and expertise with other schools and settings. You will be joining a team that was established in July 2019 and has already delivered Profile of Need / Graduated response to over 400 individuals. This next phase is to support schools and settings on an individual basis with embedding the profile of Need. This is an excellent opportunity for CPD, as you will be working day to day with other schools, helping them develop their SEND practice and picking up knowledge that you can take back to your own setting. You will be liaising with other services, such as the Specialist Teachers in Practice, and helping advise for decision on the Local Learning Fund. Most of our team work part time and are seconded from their school. This means we can be flexible in arranging suitable working arrangements for successful candidates. We are especially keen on recruiting from secondary schools. The role would initially be for the 2020/2021 academic
