Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client in South London to recruit a Registered Manager.
Working Pattern: FULL TIME
Contract: PERMANENT
Rate: £51,000 PER YEAR
Start Date: ASAP
OVERVIEW
To provide a short breaks service that achieves positive outcomes for service users and carers, facilitating maximum independence, dignity, choice and control, through person centered planning and support, and making sure the environment is tailored as much as possible to each individual’s needs.
Supporting the Head of Service with the development and continuous improvement of the overall service. To be innovative and proactive
in identifying and implementing ways in which the Unit can improve.
JOB DETAILS
As registered manager for both CQC and Ofsted services, to maintain an up to
date, in-depth and practical understanding of existing and pending legislation,
relevant policies and standards in order to contribute fully and lead on the strategic direction of the service.
To ensure timely submission of reports and notifications to CQC and Ofsted,
and be responsible for the completion and oversight of relevant records to comply with Children’s Homes regulations.
To ensure that children, young people, and adults have their needs met and
the Unit meets the standards set in the Statement of Purpose; safeguarding service users and ensuring the provision of high standards of care practice and the achievement of defined quality standards for service delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates need to have experience in working in residential settings that have been good or outstanding.
