Housing Officer   Akton Recruitment currently has an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer with significant experience to join the team with the local authority in London *********************************************************************************** Essential that candidate can speak either Hungarian, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian *********************************************************************************** You will provide full range of advice and assistance to customers placed in temporary accommodation and other accommodation across the service, on housing and related enquiries.  You will be required to maintain accurate and up to date record systems and contribute to performance improvement and service development whilst providing a range of administrative and support services  You will work closely with the other teams within Resident Services and also internally across the Council including Housing Solutions and Asset Management in relation to resolving customer enquiries and improving the service to our customers.    The successful candidate is required to have experience of direct customer contact, working in an advisory capacity, experience of dealing with members of the public, handling difficult issues and volatile situations as well as experience of handling sensitive and confidential information. The candidate must be an organised, innovative and dedicated to improving service delivery with a customer focus by providing real solutions for people in housing need.
