Desktop Consultant, Greater London

I am currently working with an exciting Consultancy who are looking for an experienced senior Desktop Engineer to join their team of talented consultants, playing a key role as they continue to expand their services. For the Desktop Consultant role, the right candidate will be an experienced Desktop Socialist with speciality across Windows 10, Office 365 and VMware. The client will be looking for a Windows Infrastructure based Desktop Engineer, who has had technical experience also covering networking, virtualization and also some cloud technologies. The day-to-day requirements of the Desktop Consultant position will include large Windows 10 rollouts, Office 365 migration projects, 2nd / 3rd line technical support, maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries, taking ownership of user problems and being pro-active when dealing with user issues. The role will be looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and ability to communicate well with senior management. Desktop Consultant - Essential skills: Expert experience across Windows desktop 7, 8 & 10 Microsoft Office - Desktop and O365 Active Directory Hyper-V/VMware/vSphere Networking experience LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Security Excellent communication skills Must possess a valid driving licence Relevant professional certificates (MCSE, CCNA, VCP) Desirable Skills: Skype for Business knowledge of scripting Knowledge of cloud based services – (IAAS, PAAS and SAAS) This role will offer fantastic benefits and a salary of up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) With initial interviews having already commenced, this role will not be on the market for long so do not hesitate to get in touch.
