Intro: S Knights Recruitment are recruiting for a National, award wining training provider that offers a range of government funded training to both pre and post 16 learners. Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Safeguarding to join their management team. Role and Responsibilities: As part of your role as the Head of Safeguarding you will be: - Taking the operational and strategic lead for Safeguarding across the business - Overseeing and implementing the delivery of the safeguarding (including PREVENT) and child protection operation through effective leadership - Developing and where appropriate redesigning safeguarding policy and procedures - Ensuring that robust safeguarding operational procedures and processes are in place to include: early identification strategies, recording, monitoring and reporting in line with government legislation and best practice, to ensure that the needs of learner are met - Leading on equality and diversity issues concerning students and ensure compliance with legal requirements Experience and Skills: The ideal candidate for the Head of Safeguarding role will have: • Recent and direct experience of safeguarding young people in a school or other relevant organisation • A successful track record of implementing safeguarding strategy and driving organisational change • Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding training • Ability to work with a wide range of people with aim of securing the best outcome for students Apply below or to find out more information about the Head of Safeguarding job, contact Sak Awan on (url removed) or call xxx xxxx xxxx quoting the reference SA3251
