We have temporary and permanent assignments at the moment and we are looking for talented, reliable and hard working chefs for these areas. You will need to have experience in this sector ab able to cope with a fast and demanding work schedule. Good communication skills are a must as being polite, friendly and having a positive attitude. The majority of the assignments that we have would be in schools or hospitals. The hours vary but it will be Monday-Friday. The pay rates will vary from £10-13 per hour. Accountabilities with Expected Results: * Responsible for day to day Network Support including proactive monitoring, diagnosis and ongoing maintenance on IP, SDH and TDM networks. * Proficient in the migration and testing of new voice and data services on IP, SDH and TDM networks as and when required. * Ensure good customer service. Telephone manner and customer facing skills are actively practiced on a daily basis. * Perform daily scheduled tasks including backing up network platforms and devices, network health checks and network status reports. * To proactively and accurately update fault ticket management tool (Remedy) in a professional and timely manner; ensuring all third party engineers adhere to all site standards and regulations. * Ensure constant traffic analysis of all infrastructure (nodes and bandwidth – core and customer specific) to identify potential capacity constraints and implement plan to resolve. * Working in conjunction with the Global Service Operations Centre (GSOC), and liaising directly with Provisioning and Projects & Design teams to drive workflow as required ensuring delivery of customer services and faulting resolutions. * Self and team development through knowledge transfer within the group. * Liaise with colleagues in Asia Pacific, Americas and European regions in the support of world class customer service. Position Specifications Experience / Skills: * Ability to work as an individual and team player.The role requires working closely and successfully with colleagues and customers globally but also the need to be able to work independently to resolve complex issues. * Through proactive equipment and network maintenance procedures reduce outage times on customer faults. * Proficient in customer service with good business focus and commercial awareness. * Advance knowledge of routing (ISIS/OSPF/BGP) and switching technologies * Technical qualification or practical experience with Alcatel Nokia 77xx devices * Experience in network operations or infrastructure support role at a 2nd/3rd level, acquired preferably within the financial markets sector. * Proficient with data testers and testing standards. * Pro-actively manage / support and help develop all existing networks. * Maintain / modify / and troubleshoot VOIP/MPLS/IP/TDM/SDH/DWDM/L2 networks. * Ability to prioritise workload, flexible in approach to problems and use own initiative to achieve results. * Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of networking principles and WAN technology * Must have a working knowledge of VOIP / SBCs etc. * Experience of Netcool, Netscout, HPNNI & Infovista platforms * Experience of Remedy fault reporting system * Ability to prioritise workload, flexible in approach to problems and use own initiative to achieve results. * Excellent communication skills.A key player capable of working within a highly motivated team to achieve best business practice and customer service. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio * Outgoing personality who can relate to people at all levels, to take on board new products/workload and provide input in a constructive and professional manner.
