The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced senior application support analyst with good understanding of C#.NET based web applications to join one of our flagship digital brands (ICIS) based in our Sutton office. You will join a team supporting a data rich, highly interactive commercial web based product to customers of one of our most innovative businesses.
As a fully proficient and experienced member of the ICIS Application Support team, the purpose of this role is to undertake support and maintenance of ICIS back-office & front-end applications and infrastructure with minimal supervision. Where appropriate, actively promote the design phase and implementation of new infrastructure solutions or the enhancement of existing systems and on-board the support of new applications. You may be required to undertake assignments not directly covered by this role profile as the needs of the business demand, as part of your personal development plan or to enhance the departmental capability.
Key Responsibilities:
·Identify root cause for production issues
·Provide escalated support to .NET based web applications
·Define health check for applications and set up monitoring and alerting
·Troubleshoot data discrepancies
·Support data bridges
·Troubleshoot and support releases to legacy systems
·Administer Active Directory for local network.
·Participate in conversations with customers, helping them migrate to API.
·Automate and improve processes wherever possible both for the team and for others.
·Actively participate in requirement gathering meetings and sprint showcases by development teams
·Identification and prioritisation of future areas/opportunities for operational improvement through analysing business processes within Operations
·Driving delivery of change programmes to ensure better monitoring and alerting
·Provide support as part of an on-call rota out of UK business hours
Key Skills required:
·Experience with REST API
·Strong Windows and Linux systems administration experience
·Working knowledge with XML data using Xquery
·Good understanding of .NET - Core/Framework
·Exposure to SQL/SSIS/SSRS
·Amazon Web Services (AWS)
·Scripting – Powershell an advantage
·Experience working with any monitoring systems Eg. Nagios
·Basic networking skills – TCP/IP, Firewall, Load Balancer, Proxy
·Experience with relational/noSQL databases
·Version control system (Git, Atlassian products an advantage)
·Virtualisation including VMWare – Vsphere/ESX/AWS
Experience Required:
·Strong client focus and genuine desire to assist
·Experience working in tight deadlines
·Experience working closely with key business stakeholders and development teams
·Should be technically minded, quick learner and adaptable
·Strong communication and documentation skills
·Willing to work evenings and weekends as part of an on-call rota.

Fibre Project Manager - External Infrastructure, NW2
Due to continued growth in the business; our client is looking to strengthen the Telecoms Infrastructure Division with an experienced Fibre Project Manager.
Key Essentials:
* You will be responsible for overseeing turnkey Telecoms Fibre Infrastructure projects whilst working closely with civils management
* You will be responsible for ensuring that all splicing works are planned and managed according to service level agreements and that all targets are met
* You will have operational responsibility for multiple teams of Splicers working across various networks executing customer projects, diversionary works and maintenance activities
* Your role will involve compiling reports of splicing test results showing the status of work in progress and an overview of the overall performance including forecasts and resources
* You will be responsible for presenting splicing test results to the client whilst establishing, developing, communicating and maintaining customer relations
Requirements:
* You should have a minimum of 5 years Managerial experience working on Telecoms Fibre Infrastructure Projects
* You should have excellent knowledge of external Fibre Networks and Streetwork Legislation
* You should have excellent communication skills at all levels

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Collaborate with existing Senior QA and Dev teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
- Work with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automated and performance tests.
- Ensure NFRs are considered in all development and testing

- Research and identify root causes of performance issues in partnership with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
- Conduct feature reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implement procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables.
- Identify areas for improvement and, with leadership, peers, or others, implement initiatives improving overall capability and efficiency.
- Ensure results of root cause analyses are addressed.
