Project Manager - IT and Business Change, WC2B
Project Manager - IT and Business Change - Passionate and pragmatic individual required.
Would you like to join a business at an early stage in its journey to put technology at its backbone? Do you get excited by a clear vision and plan and have you got the assertiveness to make things happen?
This UK focussed legal firm has been growing steadily and instead of a generic vision of “we want to be number 1”, they have clearly set out their specific focus and part of that is to automate as much as possible. There will be a mix of projects, some bleeding edge, others not so advanced tech wise but will have massive impact on the business, and that’s why the ideal candidate for this role will have the experience of IT and business change.
As a Project Manager, you will work on a real variety of projects, often with multiple stakeholders and across departments so some of the key attributes you will need are persuasion and credibility.
It is expected you will have some experience in a structured methodology but do not expect a cookie cutter environment here, the ability to adapt and have a flexible approach is really important, but of course, you and the team will be looking to embed a more structured approach and gradually educate the business.
You’ll be adept at mediating stakeholders and steering conversations without saying no. Experience with a partnership or partner led business could come in useful but by no means essential because of this.
Due to the variety of work involved there is no preferred industry background, of course, an interest in Law or the legal profession would be nice, what’s more important is your enthusiasm to build a better firm. The only expectation is that you will have worked on IT and Business Change projects.
What’s in it for you?! You will enjoy going to work; there is no doubt about that. This is an exciting time for the firm, and it’s already one of the leading names in the industry. Please contact me for more
