HGV Mechanic, Croydon

The role:
* Service, maintain and repair a fleet of mixed commercial vehicles
* Build your product knowledge of a variety of makes and models of vans through to HGVs
* Complete all paperwork in an efficient and accurate manner
* Work as a team with your colleagues to ensure vehicle jobs are completed to the required time and standard
* Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment (training is offered on this if required)
* Carry out inspections to Vosa standards
* Working a 2 week day shift rota, week 1: 6am - 2pm, week 2: 11am - 7pm, Monday to Friday.
* Overtime is voluntary, and available at a premium.
* Expected earnings are around £38k per annum, this includes a small amount of overtime each week.
To succeed in this successful, friendly workshop, you will:
* Be a fully qualified vehicle technician with NVQ level 3, IMI apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 3, or equivalent qualifications
* Have good experience of working as a mechanic on a range of HGV tractor units and rigid trucks as well as some lighter commercial vehicles.
* Be willing to be trained on different types of vehicles as the need arises
* Be a real team player who enjoys working together with colleagues
* Have a very good standard of work and accuracy

Position Summary:
Seeking a motivated and collaborative security leader to run our rapidly growing application security team and our secure development lifecycle program. The person in this role will also lead in building the application secure strategy, design, deployment, and operations of all of our systems. This role requires impeccable interpersonal skills as well as a deep understanding of architecture and products.
The role holder must be technical and collaborative with an ability to influence technology leaders to build security into the Software Development Lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
Create a relevant strategy and vision for application security to ensure the reduction of risk on the applications.
Refine and drive widespread adoption of our secure development lifecycle process
Build partnerships with other development teams, be a source of expertise in security best practices.

Experience with static code analysis tools (Fortify)

Primary Responsibilities
• Create a relevant strategy, roadmap and vision for Security Architecture and Engineering team whose mission is to implement and maintain key security technology to improve security posture and strengthen security defences.
• Define the top talent criteria which will allow for a wide range of technical abilities to ensure subject matter expertise on all facets of technology stack with include Cloud environments. The leader must drive performance, innovate with ideas, pursue excellence and set stretch targets for the team. The leader will also mentor, nurture and grow the team over time.
• Define the operating model for which the team runs which will include project intake and stakeholder sentiment measured throughout the calendar year. The leader will execute with discipline by building a repeatable process for the operating model.

• 5+ years of prior team lead or people management experience with proven global reach.
• 10+ years’ experience in some combination of the following disciplines with an emphasis on information security: network architecture, IT perimeter design, threat modelling, security architecture, application architecture and design, authentication platforms, industry standard frameworks (NIST, ISO), physical security, DNS, VPN, URL Filtering, SIEM design, Email security, Cryptography concepts.
• Deep leadership and strategic skillset.
• Must be highly collaborative, able to effectively interact with peers, management and leadership teams, excel at cross-team initiatives and act with a sense of urgency when security issues or requirements arise.
• Demonstrable deep technical knowledge on all facets of Information Technology and Information Security.
• Empathy and a passion for helping others grow and building a world class function.
• Experience in review security solutions and working with vendors in obtaining relevant information to ensure appropriate fit into an organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
