Electric Meter Fitter (Three Phase), London
The Role:
Electric Meter Installer required to fit Single and Three Phase meters
into commercial premises in London (MPAN 12)
This position is permanent, which means that everything is supplied
and you are required to only provide your technical expertise as an
electric meter installer.
The Candidate:
You will have to meet the following criteria:
1) MOCOPA or DNO authorised Electric Meter Installer
2) Three Phase metering authorisation
3) A checkable history within Electric Meter Installation
4) Be seeking a long term permanent career opportunity
5) Be prepared to be vetted via a Criminal Record Check
6) Have a maximum of six penalty points on your driving license
7) Be prepared to drive a van that has a tracker fitted
8) Be prepared to attend a Health and Safety Induction, which may be
outside of your local area and involve overnight stays (all expenses
covered).
The All Important Benefits:
a) This is a straight to permanent position, so no need to be paid via
an Agency or Umbrella payment company
b) You will be supplied with a Vehicle, Fuel Card, Tools, PPE, Phone
c) You will have the security that if you work hard and safe you have
long term financial and employment security on this contract
d) Starting salary £28,000 (negotiable to £30,000 on experience).

A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual to join their team on an interim basis, the likely start date for this role is the start of September.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the delivery of estates capital schemes as delegated by the SMT and as set out within the Trust Annual Capital Investment Programme to improve the environment for patients, staff and visitors whilst complying with the Trusts Stranding Financial Instructions and industry best practice;
- An integral member of the Estates, Facilities and Capital Projects Team and, as such, from time to time will be required to support the wider Team in the delivery of a seamless service;
- Required to independently manage a portfolio of projects ranging from £5k up to £200k from inception to completion including project management, design, contract administration, site supervision and commissioning;
- Responsible, where instructed, to develop a Client Brief for a project and manage the selection, appointment and management of external professional advisors;
- Assist and at times deputise for the Senior Estates Team at various project planning and review meetings, prepare regular reports to show the up to date progress and financial position of each project as they progress; advise on space planning matters and feasibility of proposals put forward by the General Managers;
- When required support the Operational Estates Management to ensure that all Trust policies relating to building works are adhered to and that all projects are carried out within budget and delivered on schedule whilst maintaining quality standards and compliance with Capital Working Group requirements and Standing Financial Instructions;
A successful candidate will have:
- Understand the obligations as the Client under the CDM2015 Regulations, undertaking audits of schemes as required and to keep abreast of any subsequent construction related legislation;
- Have extensive experience within Major/Minor works within an NHS organisation.
