The optical superstore is part of a leading independent group and will offer a range of services including eye tests, contact lenses, glasses and prescriptions sunglasses from a range of high-end brands including Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Lindberg, Oliver Peoples and more. As the Optical Lab Technician you will be based in the on-site lab and have access to the latest state of the art equipment with the aim of efficiently and effectively producing a range of services. Optical Lab Technician – Role * Produce finished spectacles orders from start to completion, undertaking all or some of the tasks involved in the process, according to your role and skill set * Work to the required company productivity and quality targets at all times * Comply with all standard operating procedures (SOPS), work instructions or procedures applicable to your role, and highlight to your line manager any areas for review * To apply good housekeeping practices and place waste materials in the correct locations. * Ensuring that all tools, machinery, company property and facilities are used and maintained to the required levels. Interim Head of Regulatory Stakeholder Management Location: London - Fixed Term Contract 12 Month Competitive Salary and benefits We are looking for a Head of Regulatory Stakeholder Management to lead the Regulatory Stakeholder Management Team as DCC completes the implementation of its core systems and works with the rest of the Energy Industry, Government, and Ofgem on emerging requirements.The regulatory stakeholder relationships are extremely important to DCC.This role will be responsible for leading the development of the Regulatory Stakeholder Management team, defining how it operates, building new relationships with key stakeholders, and setting the strategic direction for the day to day work of the team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Regulatory Affairs. What you will do: Leadership * Lead the development of the new team – defining how we engage with our stakeholders and how the team operates. * Support the development of the team – with a new team made of new recruits, it’s important we engage and develop our people to ensure the new model lands and works immediately. * Act as the principal point of escalation for concerns raised for BEIS and within DCC through the team * Cultivate strong working relationships with BEIS, SEC and Ofgem contacts, and DCC leads Management * Ensure workstreams on co-ordinating and improving DCC engagement are in place and fit for purpose * Act as an escalation point for concerns and queries within the team – this is likely to reduce over time as the team embeds. You will need to have intermediate experience with one of the following analytical tools: SQL, R, SAS, SPSS or Python This is a great opportunity for a candidate with some commercial experience in analytics, to gain exposure to modern technologies and work with digital data. Established in 2012 our client describe themselves as a data driven digital start-up, comprising of 15 people and rapidly growing – both in culture and rapid growth. Initially an ESP, they have developed their offering to include media planning and buying and advanced analytics. Over the last 2 years one of our trusted Data Science contacts in industry, joined to set up and develop their Data Science offering. This includes digital attribution modelling, reporting on digital campaign performance (including programmatic), managing and developing algorithms to predict online customer purchasing behaviour and delivering actionable insights. They have now decided to move on and hand over the reigns to someone more junior who can take over the processes which have been set up and work to continue to grow the offering.
